April 23, 2025 (MLN): Gold worth in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday, with pure gold being offered at Rs352,000 per tola, down Rs11,700.

Equally, pure gold per 10-gram was offered at Rs301,783 after a decline of Rs10,031, based on charges shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Affiliation (APGJSA).

The value of 22-karat gold was additionally quoted decrease at Rs276,644 per 10-gram.

However, silver costs rose within the home market, with 24-karat silver being offered at Rs3,457 per tola (+Rs16) and Rs2,963 per 10-gram (+Rs13).

Globally, spot gold traded close to $3,336 an oz, down $0.5 or 0.01% from the earlier session.

Gold costs fell greater than 2% on Wednesday as U.S. President Donald Trump backed down from threats to dismiss Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell and expressed optimism for a commerce cope with prime metals shopper China, denting bullion's safe-haven enchantment.
