Premium Textile Mills (PSX:PRET) has informed that the Board of Directors of Premium Textile Mills Limited through Circular Resolution dated November 24, 2025 has approved the purchase of a 7.5 MW Wind Turbine.

The estimated cost of the above project is amounting to USD 4,150,000 (United States Dollars Four Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand Only).

The company has already installed 20 MW of operational solar power generation capacity and is currently undertaking the installation of a 7.5 MW wind turbine.

fter installation of the currently proposed 7.5 MW wind turbine, the company’s total wind power capacity will increase to 15 MW. The estimated completion and commissioning of this new turbine expected in the last quarter of December (October-December 2026).

After the installation of the 15 MW wind turbine (7.5 x 2), the company is expected to produce approximately 55.2 GWh annually through wind energy.

The company is commitment towards sustainable environment practices and the contribution of renewable energy in the power mix will significantly increase after the completion of the wind turbine project.
